I have been offered a pair of Daiwa Infinity rods (for Barbel fishing ) for £60 the pair but told the lad that I wouldnt touch them as I  dont like Diawa stuff. I sent him to a mate who had them off him to give to his little brother who is just getting some tackle together. Thats all they are fit for kids.

Beg to differTinca   the Daiwa Infinty carp rods were top of the range rods cost well over £350 .00 per rod when new.
Especially the 12 ft long distance 2.75 TC.
I think mine are great .  Really good on on casting a heavy lead or a large method feeder ball,
Also great rod when playing largish carp very sensitive when you've got fish under your feet.
Will never lock up.
IMHO far to good to give to kid's.
