I have been invited to fish the Trent at Barrow on Trent on opening day of the season by a club member. I look forward to it as we are going to be there early so we will ready for midnight. I hope the Barbel will fit and ready for some fun.

well i will see you down there , the only day i havnt fished peg 7 for a few years on the opening hour was last year when you could not even get near the peg due to flooding

No Problem mate just P.M me for details. I'll be there about 4am on the Sunday setting my gear up ready for the off. I think a few others are going to be there also. We could have a match if enough turn up.

i think you all forget ,but opening day on rivers ,is not all its cracked up to be ,you get a lot of blanks,. And if its owt like last season a lot of water ,with no where to fish
