Rescue Charity Application

I have sent a request for an application form to become a registered
cat adoption & re-homing charity.
We have already had our local CPL refer people to us (The-Kats-Whiskers)
to adopt or re-home a cat or kitten. This was a huge boost
to the hard work we do. It was also very unexpected.
I have to sit and wait for the paper work to arrive now
and take it from there.

The-Kats-Whiskers just started off as what i thought was a silly idea late one night, to have my own cat site. Now its opened up to become my lifes dream to rescue and re-home unwanted cats and kittens full time. The mum and 4 kittens i adopted before xmas are doing great. The kittens went off to thier new homes and we decided to keep Honey she has settled in very well and is a different cat now she does not have to worry about protecting her babies. Our latest arrival is a half bengal female aged 3 - 4yrs old she has her full vaccinations and is microchipped she is quite a big cat but it goes with the bengal breed, her name is Jasmine and she will be going up for adoption on our main site www.the-kats-whiskers.co.uk at the end of next week. You can read any updates of our rescue cats at www.the-kats-whiskers.co.uk/smf-forum Hopefully we The-Kats-Whiskers will be a registered charity in the not so distant future.

Well done on helping homeless and unwanted cats. I hope it goes from strength to strength.

Thank you Hunni,

The registration forms have arrived. We have to sit down and read through them and weigh up the pro's and cons of being a registered charity. All funds for feeding and caring for the cats come from my own pocket or carboot sales at the moment and we have 9 cats in the house. (Heaven)

If this all takes off then it will be a dream come true for me. I have always said to my mum that no-one can comprehend what i feel for cats. They are more than my greatest passion in life, i quit smoking nearly 1yr ago for my cats.    Iv'e still never got any money since quitting thou and iv'e been diagnosed with high blood pressure lmao
