Champions Arsenal thumped Doncaster Belles 8-1 in the Women's Premier League's biggest win of the season.

Everton, last season's runners-up to the Gunners, won 5-0 against the current leaders Millwall Lionesses with Natasha Dowie hitting a hat-trick.

Watford slipped from second place to third after a 2-0 defeat at Bristol Academy, whose victory gave the bottom club their first points of the season.

Nottingham Forest jumped four places to second with a 1-0 win at Blackburn.

Chelsea and Leeds Carnegie, who like Arsenal and Everton started the season late due to having players on England duty at Euro 2009, also collected good wins.

Chelsea beat Sunderland 3-1 and Leeds won 4-2 against Birmingham City, former Chelsea striker Ellen White bagging a hat-trick.
