Arthur to take on Guzman in MayAlex Arthur will fight champion Joan Guzman for the WBO Superfeatherweight title on 3 May at Meadowbank.
The Edinburgh boxer's promoter, Frank Warren, won the purse bids in January to secure a home advantage.
The 29-year-old, who won the interim title while his opponent dithered about his future, said: "With my fans behind me I know I can beat Guzman.
"The bookies will have me down as the underdog, but that doesn't bother me - I know I've got the beating of him."
Guzman promises to be Arthur's toughest challenge in a 27-bout career that has seen him win European, Commonwealth and British titles.
The 31-year-old from the Dominican Republic is a former WBO superbantamweight champion and has never been beaten in 28 fights.
"Make no mistake, Guzman is a dangerous customer and he fully deserves his reputation as one of the pound-for-pound greats," added Arthur.
