InvitedI have been invited to fish the Trent at Barrow on Trent on opening day of the season by a club member. I look forward to it as we are going to be there early so we will ready for midnight. I hope the Barbel will fit and ready for some fun.

well i will see you down there , the only day i havnt fished peg 7 for a few years on the opening hour was last year when you could not even get near the peg due to flooding

No Problem mate just P.M me for details. I'll be there about 4am on the Sunday setting my gear up ready for the off. I think a few others are going to be there also. We could have a match if enough turn up.

Wish i could come for opening day ,but finance stops me unless i can sell some of these reels and rods and hooks ect ...

i think you all forget ,but opening day on rivers ,is not all its cracked up to be ,you get a lot of blanks,. And if its owt like last season a lot of water ,with no where to fish

Larry, i cant be bribed with guiness at all, beer,s a no no with me i dont like beer ,i have a shandy once a month at the meetings that,s all,if theres no meeting then i dont have any wouldnt worry me if i never had any at all

Well im looking foward to the 15th down PAD stretch early to get set up then in evening may disapear to barrow club for a couple of pints of the blackstuff to celebrate the new season, then back on bank ready for midnight
