Keane hit with FA conduct chargeSunderland manager Roy Keane has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.
The FA said the charges relate to his actions towards referee Martin Atkinson in the tunnel at half-time during their game at Chelsea on Saturday.
Chelsea won 5-0 and Keane was unhappy with the third goal, which came right at the end of the first period.
After the game the Sunderland boss confirmed he had been told not to sit in the dugout for the second period.
The former Manchester United midfielder insisted he had not been sent off, but was asked to watch the second half from the stand.
He said: "All you want when you play one of the big boys is a bit of fairness, and I don't think we got that.
"I don't think I was sent off. With the respect campaign I think every manager has the right to ask the official about certain decisions.
