Lincoln City have announced that they will freeze season ticket prices for their 125th anniversary next season.

The child price band for the Imps has been extended to 16 and 17-year-olds in full-time education.

Lincoln's chief executive Dave Roberts says: "The club and board of directors have looked at the best ways to make watching the Imps more affordable."

"This season's prices have been below average for League Two, so with a price hold next year, they'll be value."

Season tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 6 May.

Wrexham's end of season clear out has begun with three loan players appearing to have played their last games for the relegation-threatened club.

MK Dons striker Drewe Broughton and West Brom front man Stuart Nicholson have been told they will not feature again this season.

And Robert Duffy, who is injured, is returning to Oxford United.

"The manager has said he's going to throw in some youngsters and give others a chance," said a club official.

"They are not being sent back in disgrace or anything like that. But we have 39 players on our books.''

All three have failed to make any significant impact for Wrexham. Broughton scored two goals in 16 appearances, Nicholson failed to score in nine starts while Duffy was restricted to six substitute outings.

Darlington boss Dave Penney has warned his players that they need to find their scoring touch if they are to escape League Two this season.

With just four goals in six games (and none from the last three), Penney is concerned that a lack of firepower could halt their play-off bid.

"We've stopped scoring," he told BBC Tees. "The league table doesn't lie.

"When we're playing well we're a match for anybody. We need to get everyone back and playing well again."

The Quakers' injury problems have been well documented but Penney is confident some key players are on the comeback trail at this crucial time

Assistant manager Jimmy Bell is concerned that Accrington might get a reputation for being under-performers.

Stanley are 18th in League Two, the same place they finished in their first season back in the Football League.

"We believe we should be competing with the likes of Stockport and Rochdale," Bell told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"We think we're as good as them and we believe we should be in there battling away with them. So it's something we're looking to emulate."

Inconsistency has become a worrying trend at the Fraser Eagle Stadium. And that is something Bell is keen to eradicate.

"The better players you get the more consistent they are," he said. "We've just been up and down all season and we've been scratching our heads every game wondering why we have been like that.

Morecambe assistant manager Mark Lillis believes the Shrimps' young goalkeeper Scott Davies has the potential to go all the way in the game.

"Scott is a brave keeper," Lillis told BBC Radio Lancashire. "Even if he comes for a cross and misses it at least you knowing he's still coming for it.

"He's a good prospect for Morecambe Football Club."

The 21-year-old Blackpool-born keeper, who joined as a trainee in July 2005, has been a regular for the last month.

He has played in the last seven games for Morecambe, including a match-saving performance last week in the 1-1 home draw with Chesterfield. And Lillis feels he has the right pedigree to be a success.

Peterborough United captain Micah Hyde has promised to make up for defeat against Stockport by helping Posh to promotion at Hereford on Saturday.

Hyde was disappointed that his return to the starting line-up coincided with the side's first defeat in 18 matches.

He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm very determined because I came back in to the team and we lost.

"I've been promoted a couple of times now in my career and it is a really good feeling."

Hyde has also called on the less experienced Peterborough players to keep focused on reaching their goal.

Rotherham United have been the subject of a number of last-ditch rescue bids from investors hoping to take over the League Two crisis club.

Administrator Jeremy Bleazard had warned the club they faced liquidation as they owed hundreds of thousands of pounds to the Inland Revenue.

But, ahead of a 1700 BST deadline, the club have revealed more than one bid.

And BBC Sheffield can confirm that one of the offers came from ex-directors Dino Maccio and Alan Cartlege.

The consortium are believed to have secured the backing of the owners of the club's Millmoor ground, the Booth Family.

Rotherham United's chief operating officer Paul Douglas has told Radio Sheffield:

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has promised supporters a better style of play next season.

The Lions are currently battling to secure League One safety, but Jackett is keen to focus on the long term.

"I want to play attractive football because I think the product is important," he told BBC London 94.9FM.

"Nobody is more aware than myself that it needs to be winning football, but you can achieve better and longer lasting results by a good product."

Port Vale youngster Simon Richman has agreed a new contract that secures his future with the Valiants.

The 17-year-old was part of the team that made the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup and has made three first-team appearances so far this season.

"I've accepted a contract, I want to be here next season and I want to play for this football club," said Richman.

"Its been disappointing getting relegated but I want to help us bounce straight back up

Swindon striker Lee Peacock is planning to work hard during the summer to make sure he comes back as fit as possible.

The 31-year-old aims to eliminate the minor injuries that have hampered him in time for next season.

"I'm going to be less injury-prone. I want to be fitter than I've ever been, and quicker than ever," Peacock told BBC Radio Swindon.

"I'm doing a lot of functional work to sort out little niggles that I've had and just really push myself."

He has spent most of his career up front, scoring 134 senior goals, until being converted into a midfielder by former Robins manager Paul Sturrock - but a poor run of results has seen him moved back into the forward line.

But Peacock does not mind where current boss Maurice Malpas deploys him, as long as the club can have a good finish to the season.

Bournemouth defender Warren Cummings has labelled the off-field uncertainty at the club as "embarrassing".

The Cherries were set to be taken over by EU UK Ltd, but the company pulled out of the deal at the eleventh hour.

And after other false dawns regarding the future of the club, Cummings says the "soap opera" is filtering through to the players.

"It's impossible to ignore. The whole thing is frankly embarrassing for the club," Cummings told BBC Radio Solent.

"It's embarrassing for the image of the football club, and also for everyone involved in the football club.

"All we want to do is get results, but the club's name is getting dragged through the mud.

"It's a bit of a soap opera and we can't control it, but we talk about it and we want it sorted just as much as the fans do," he added.

Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has assured fans that his squad is fit and firing ahead of the last three games of the season.

"Everyone says we've got the flip-flops and the swimming trunks on ready for the summer holidays," he told BBC Tees.

"I don't think that is the case at all. Perhaps there's a psychological thing about us being safe but we've still got plenty to play for on the field.

"Even if it's just playing for pride. We want to finish as high as we can."

Wilson led Pools to automatic promotion from League Two last May. And, despite murmurings of discontent after a run of just one point in three games that has seen Pools slump to 14th, Wilson believes the club has enjoyed a reasonable season

Southend United manager Steve Tilson believes the side have already met their targets for this season.

The Blues head into their match with Carlisle on Saturday needing one point to confirm a League One play-off spot and are currently unbeaten in 12 games.

Tilson told BBC Essex: "The play-offs were our aim and it looks like we're going to achieve that.

"So the pressure will be off us and we'll be able to go out and give it our best shot."

Tilson also believes there will be little expectation for them to make a return to the Championship should they make the play-offs.

"I think in the play-offs we will be the underdogs, because you've got Forest and Leeds who are two massive clubs," he said.

"Doncaster look like they're going to end up third, so we'll be the underdogs whatever."

Carlisle United captain Danny Livesey believes stability within the squad has helped this season's push for promotion to the Championship.

Despite having four managers in the last five years, the defender feels the club are beginning to see the benefits of a close-knit squad.

"No one has come in and changed all the team at once, they've just added little bits," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.

"That has helped as the core of the team has stayed together."

It has been a good season on a personal note for Livesey. The skipper has notched six goals and has been an ever-present for the Cumbrians in League Two.

Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has appealed to the team's frustrated fans to give him time to develop the club.

"There's nobody more frustrated than me. I work exceptionally hard at what I'm trying to do. I've got to build a football club," he told BBC Somerset.

Yeovil are not yet safe from relegation and were booed off the pitch after Saturday's 3-0 defeat at home to Crewe.

"There's lots of issues that need to be addressed on and off the field that we need to come to terms with," he added.
